Age: minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years as on 01 January 2026 (relaxations as per state rules).
Exam Pattern
- Merit evaluation — Higher Secondary (Board) marks weightage — 50 percent weightage.
- Merit evaluation — Higher academic qualification (Graduation/Postgraduation) — Up to 10 marks (Graduation – 05 marks / Postgraduate – 05 marks).
- Computer skill test — Computer/typing test (English & Hindi typing) — 25 percent weightage (marks obtained in computer skill test contribute 25%).
- Merit evaluation (experience) — Experience as Employment Assistant — 15 marks (3 marks per year of experience, maximum counted 5 years; one year = minimum 9 months).
Physical / Skill / Computer Test
- Computer typing test (English and Hindi): 15 minutes English typing and 15 minutes Hindi typing as part of the computer skill exam.
Preparation Strategy
- Gather and verify all required certificates (10th, 12th, diploma, residence, caste, experience) before applying and keep scanned copies ready.
- Practice both English and Hindi typing for sustained 15‑minute tests focusing on speed and accuracy (timed typing drills).
- Ensure your Higher Secondary marksheet and any higher qualification (graduate/postgraduate) are correct and emphasise higher‑marks documentation, since HSC marks carry 50% weight.
- If eligible for experience marks, obtain the employment assistant experience certificate issued by the competent authority (Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat / Janpad Panchayat) and calculate years precisely (one year = minimum 9 months).
