Eligibility (as per the official notification)
Qualifications vary by post: Educator — 10+2 with D.El.Ed. or B.Ed.; Art & Craft/Music Teacher — 10+2 with Diploma/Degree in Art & Craft/Music; PT Instructor cum Yoga Trainer — 10+2 with Diploma/Degree in Yoga/Sports/Athletics/Physical Education; Cook/Helper/Housekeeper — 8th pass; Care Taker–cum–Vocational Instructor — matriculation with certificate course in vocational trade. Exam Pattern
- प्रारम्भिक मेधासूची (Initial merit list) — Marks awarded on basis of minimum educational qualification percentage and higher degrees (distribution stated in notification). — 60 marks
- साक्षात्कार (Interview) — Personal interview for shortlisted candidates. — 40 marks
- Final merit list — Final selection based on combined marks of academic/qualification (प्रारम्भिक मेधासूची) and interview. — 100 (combined)
Preparation Strategy
- Collect and organise original education and higher‑degree certificates and mark‑sheets to evidence percentage (these form 50 of the 60 marks in the initial merit).
- If you hold any higher degree(s) in the same subject, keep certified copies ready — up to 10 marks (5+5) are awarded for up to two higher degrees.
- Prepare and practice for the interview (40 marks): be ready to explain experience, vocation training, child‑sensitivity examples and present bank statements/experience proofs as required.
- Check age limits and reservation relaxations in Annexure‑1 and ensure all supporting documents (experience certificate from government/recognized institutions, bank statement for last 6 months) are ready for verification.
