Eligibility (as per the official notification)
Post-specific educational qualifications are prescribed (e.g. Central Administrator: Master's in Law/Social Work/Sociology/Social Science/Psychology; Psycho-social Counsellor: professional degree/diploma in Psychology/Psychiatry/Neurosciences; Case Worker: Bachelor's in Law/Social Work/Sociology/Social Science/Psychology; Para-legal/Lawyer: Degree in Law or practicing lawyer; Office Assistant: Graduate with diploma in Computer/IT; Multi-purpose/Cook: literate (High School preferred); Security Guard: passed 8th). Exam Pattern
- Academic weightage — Percentage obtained in required minimum academic qualification (converted to marks with 100-point weightage) — Maximum 60 marks
- Experience bonus — Additional years of relevant experience beyond minimum (2 marks per additional year) — Up to 10 marks (2 marks per year)
- Prior service bonus — Work experience in State Women Helpline or Sakhi One Stop Centre (bonus) — Up to 10 marks (2 marks per year)
- Walk-in interview / Skill test — Walk-in interview and/or skill test (knowledge of local language/dialect to be assessed during interview) — 20 marks
Physical / Skill / Computer Test
- Walk-in interview / Skill test: Assessed as 20 marks during selection; local language/dialect knowledge required as per notification.
- Medical fitness (health check): Selected candidate must present a fitness certificate obtained within 1 month of selection or service may be terminated.
Preparation Strategy
- Bring original documents (10th/12th marksheet, degree/diploma, experience certificates, residence and caste certificates, ID and one stamped envelope) for document verification.
- Emphasize and attach authenticated experience certificates (full-time) — extra years give 2 marks/year (up to 10) and prior OSC/helpline experience gives bonus marks.
- Prepare for the walk-in interview/skill test: practice counselling/legal scenario answers and be ready to demonstrate computer skills if applying for Office Assistant; demonstrate fluency in the local language/dialect.
