Overview

This Appointment Order (ORDER No.62/(Rev) UTL of 2026 dated 09.10.2026) appoints selected candidates to the post of Wasil Baqi Nawis (WBN) (Group ‘C’ Non‑Gazetted) in the Revenue Department, UT of Ladakh (District Cadre: Leh) at Pay Level 4 (Rs.25,500–81,100). Four candidates are named and their appointments are subject to two years’ probation, medical fitness and verification of character/certificates; they must join within one month of the order.

Eligibility (as per the official notification)

Essential educational requirement: Graduate (candidates must possess the educational qualification prescribed in the Ladakh Revenue (Subordinate) Service Recruitment Rules, 2021 and as specified in the relevant advertisement for WBN).

Physical / Skill / Computer Test

  • Physical standards and fitness (as given in the WBN advertisement annexure): Height: Male minimum 162 cm; Female minimum 152 cm. Physical fitness: 25 km walk to be completed in four (04) hours. Physical Fitness Certificate from Chief Medical Officer required.
