The Commission has notified the MERC (Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum & Ombudsman) Regulations, 2020 and (First Amendment) Regulations, 2024. These Regulations provide for the establishment and functioning of Consumer Grievance Redressal Forums by Distribution Licensees across the State and for the appointment and functioning of the Electricity Ombudsman by the Commission.
