Inorganic Chemistry: Basics of inorganic chemistry including periodic trends, coordination compounds, and their pharmaceutical applications. 4. Physical Chemistry: Basic concepts of thermodynamics, kinetics, and their applications in pharmaceutical formulations. 5. Analytical Techniques: Spectroscopy: UV-Visible spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, NMR spectroscopy, and their applications in pharmaceutical analysis. Chromatography: Principles of chromatographic techniques such as HPLC, GC, TLC, and their applications in drug analysis. 6. Titration Methods: Acid-base titrations, redox titrations, and complexometric titrations commonly used in pharmaceutical analysis. Instrumental Methods: Basics of analytical instruments like spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and their applications in drug analysis. 7. Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy: Pharmacognosy: Introduction to medicinal plants, extraction techniques, and the identification of plant constituents. 8. Quality Control and Assurance:Principles of quality control and quality assurance in pharmaceutical manufacturing.Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines. 9. General Awareness:Current affairs related to the pharmaceutical industry. Basic knowledge of regulatory authorities governing pharmaceuticals in India. 10. Mathematics and Statistics:Basic mathematical concepts including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.Statistical analysis techniques including mean, median, mode, standard deviation, and hypothesis testing.
