Exam Syllabus

1. Mathematics: Algebra Matrices and Determinants Trigonometry Analytical Geometry of Two and Three Dimensions Differential Calculus Integral Calculus and Differential Equations Vector Algebra Statistics and Probability 2. General Ability Test (GAT): Part A - English: Grammar and Usage Vocabulary Comprehension and Cohesion in Extended Text Part B - General Knowledge: Physics Chemistry General Science History, Freedom Movement, etc. Geography Current Events 3. SSB Interview (Services Selection Board): A. Important Points: The Mathematics paper is of 300 marks, while the General Ability Test (GAT) is of 600 marks. Both papers are conducted in English as well as Hindi. There is negative marking for wrong answers in the objective type questions. B. Preparation Strategy: Understanding the Syllabus: Go through the syllabus thoroughly to understand the topics covered in each section. C. Practice: Solve previous year question papers and sample papers to understand the exam pattern and improve your problem-solving skills. Time Management: Manage your time effectively during the exam. Allocate specific time slots for each section and practice answering questions within the allotted time. D. Mock Tests: Take mock tests regularly to evaluate your preparation level and identify areas that need improvement. E. Physical Fitness: Along with academic preparation, focus on physical fitness as it is crucial for clearing the SSB interview.
