Soil Science: Soil types, soil fertility, soil conservation, soil health management, soil amendments, and soil microbiology. Horticulture: Cultivation practices of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and ornamental plants, post-harvest management, and protected cultivation. Plant Pathology: Diseases of major crops, their causes, symptoms, and management strategies including biological control and integrated disease management. Entomology: Insect pests of agricultural crops, their identification, life cycle, and management including chemical, biological, and cultural methods. Genetics and Plant Breeding: Principles of genetics, plant breeding methods, seed technology, and plant biotechnology. Agricultural Extension: Extension methods, rural development programs, agricultural marketing, and farmer welfare schemes. 2. General Studies: Indian Polity and Governance: Constitution of India, Indian political system, public administration, and governance. Indian Economy: Basic economic concepts, economic policies, agriculture sector in India, and government schemes for agriculture and rural development. History of India and Indian National Movement: Ancient, medieval, and modern Indian history, and the freedom struggle. Geography of India: Physical, social, and economic geography of India, natural resources, and environmental issues. Current Events of National and International Importance: Recent developments in politics, economy, science and technology, and environmental issues. 3. Optional Subjects (Choose one): Agricultural Engineering Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science 4. General Intelligence and Reasoning: Logical reasoning, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills. 5. General English or Hindi: Basic understanding of English or Hindi language, comprehension, and writing ability. 6. Numerical Aptitude: Arithmetic, numerical ability, and quantitative aptitude. 7. Previous Year Papers and Mock Tests: Solve previous year question papers and take mock tests to understand the exam pattern and improve your time management skills.
