Engineering Subjects: 1.Civil Engineering: Structural Engineering: Theory of structures, structural analysis, design of concrete and steel structures. Geotechnical Engineering: Soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical investigations. Hydraulics: Fluid mechanics, open channel hydraulics, and hydraulic machines. Transportation Engineering: Highway engineering, traffic engineering, and airport and railway engineering. Water Resources Engineering: Hydrology, irrigation engineering, and water supply systems. Building Materials and Construction: Construction techniques, materials used in construction, and building design. 2.Mechanical Engineering: Thermodynamics: Basic concepts, laws of thermodynamics, and thermodynamic cycles. Fluid Mechanics: Fluid properties, fluid dynamics, and flow in pipes and channels. Heat Transfer: Conduction, convection, and radiation, and heat exchangers. Mechanics of Materials: Stress-strain relationships, bending, and torsion. Manufacturing Processes: Casting, welding, machining, and manufacturing systems. Machine Design: Design of mechanical components, gear design, and kinematics of machinery. 3.Electrical Engineering: Electrical Circuits: Circuit theory, network theorems, and AC/DC circuits. Electromagnetic Fields: Maxwell's equations, electric and magnetic fields, and electromagnetic waves. Power Systems: Generation, transmission, and distribution of electrical power. Control Systems: Control theory, system dynamics, and control system components. Electrical Machines: Transformers, generators, and motors. Instrumentation: Measuring instruments, sensors, and transducers. 3. Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning: Mathematical Ability: Algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. Logical Reasoning: Pattern recognition, logical sequences, and problem-solving. Data Interpretation: Graphs, charts, and tables. 4.
