1: Punjabi Qualifying Exam This section evaluates proficiency in the Punjabi language, covering: Grammar and Vocabulary: Synonyms, antonyms, correct usage of words, and sentence formation. Comprehension: Understanding and interpreting Punjabi passages. Cultural and Historical Knowledge: Questions related to the biographies and works of Sikh Gurus, Punjabi idioms, proverbs, and the history and culture of Punjab. 2: Objective Test This section assesses knowledge in various domains: General Awareness (45 Marks): Current Affairs: National and international events. History and Culture: Focus on Punjab's history from the 14th century onwards and the Indian freedom struggle. Political and Economic Issues: Understanding of political scenarios and economic matters. Science and Technology: Basic scientific concepts and technological advancements. Sports, Cinema, and Literature: Awareness of significant developments in these fields. 3. Mental Ability/Reasoning and Arithmetic (15 Marks): Logical Reasoning: Verbal and non-verbal reasoning, analogies, coding-decoding, and problem-solving. Numerical Ability: Basic arithmetic, number series, and mathematical reasoning. 4. Computer Basics (10 Marks): Fundamentals: Understanding of computer hardware and software. Operating Systems and Applications: Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and internet usage. 5. Language Proficiency (30 Marks): English: Grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms, and error correction. Punjabi: Grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, and correct usage.
