Electrical Engineering: Circuit theory, electrical machines, power systems, electronics. Electronics Engineering: Analog and digital electronics, communication systems, microprocessors. Civil Engineering: Structural analysis, building materials, construction practices. Trade-Specific Knowledge: Understanding of the specific trade you are applying for, such as fitting, welding, electrical work, etc. 4.
