Exam Syllabus

1. Reasoning Ability Verbal Reasoning: Analogies, classifications, series completion, syllogisms, blood relations, direction sense, and decision-making. Non-Verbal Reasoning: Series, analogies, and pattern recognition. 2. Quantitative Aptitude Number System: Number series, divisibility rules, LCM and HCF. Arithmetic: Profit & Loss, Percentages, Ratios & Proportions, Averages, Mixtures & Allegations, Time & Work, Speed & Distance, Simple & Compound Interest. Data Interpretation: Tables, bar charts, line graphs, pie charts. 3. English Language Reading Comprehension: Passage-based questions to test understanding and inference. Grammar: Sentence correction, error spotting, and sentence completion. Vocabulary: Synonyms, antonyms, and word usage. Writing Skills: Letter writing, essay writing (in some cases). 4. General Awareness Current Affairs: National and international events, sports, awards, and honors. Banking Awareness: Basic concepts of banking, financial awareness, banking terminology, and recent developments in the banking sector. Economy: Economic policies, major economic indicators, and key economic terms. Static GK: Indian geography, history, polity, and culture. 5. Computer Knowledge Basic understanding of computers, operating systems, and commonly used software applications. Internet knowledge, email basics, and computer abbreviations. 6. Financial and Housing Awareness Understanding of housing finance and various schemes related to housing. Knowledge about the role and functions of NHB and its impact on the housing sector. Exam Pattern Preliminary Exam: Usually consists of Objective Type Questions (multiple-choice questions) based on the above syllabus. Main Exam: May include more detailed questions and could also include a descriptive section depending on the role. Interview: For certain positions, a personal interview is conducted to assess your suitability for the role.
