Exam Syllabus

1. Reasoning Ability Verbal Reasoning: Analogies, classifications, series, syllogisms, and logical reasoning. Non-Verbal Reasoning: Patterns, visual reasoning, figure series, and spatial orientation. Data Sufficiency: Solving problems with the help of given data and identifying the sufficiency of the information. 2. Quantitative Aptitude Number Systems: Basic arithmetic operations, LCM and HCF, and number series. Algebra: Linear equations, quadratic equations, and algebraic expressions. Arithmetic: Percentages, ratios and proportions, profit and loss, simple and compound interest, time and work, and time and distance. Data Interpretation: Tables, graphs, charts, and data analysis. 3. General Awareness Current Affairs: Recent events, national and international news, awards, and sports. General Knowledge: Indian history, geography, culture, and major national achievements. Economic Awareness: Basics of the Indian economy, financial and economic terms, and current economic policies. 4. English Language Reading Comprehension: Passage-based questions to test understanding. Grammar and Vocabulary: Sentence correction, error spotting, and vocabulary usage. Writing Skills: Sentence completion, paragraph writing, and report writing. 5. Professional Knowledge (for Specialist Officers) If the position is for a specialist officer role, the syllabus will also include specific professional knowledge related to the field of specialization, such as: Insurance and Financial Terms: Basic insurance concepts, policies, and financial regulations. Industry Knowledge: Current trends, challenges, and policies related to the insurance sector.
