Exam Syllabus

1. General Knowledge and Current Affairs: Current Affairs: National and international events, sports, awards, and important personalities. General Knowledge: Indian history, geography, culture, economics, and polity. General Science: Basic concepts of physics, chemistry, biology, and environmental science. Indian Airforce Specific Knowledge: Basics of the Airforce, aircraft, and defense-related topics. 2. English Language: Grammar: Parts of speech, tenses, sentence formation, and error spotting. Vocabulary: Synonyms, antonyms, and word meanings. Comprehension: Passage reading and answering questions based on it. Sentence Formation: Proper usage of words and phrases in sentences. 3. Mathematics: Arithmetic: Number systems, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, and proportions. Algebra: Basic algebraic operations, equations, and inequalities. Geometry: Basic geometric shapes, angles, and properties. Data Interpretation: Reading and interpreting data from tables, charts, and graphs. 4. Reasoning Ability: Verbal Reasoning: Analogies, series, classification, coding-decoding, blood relations, and direction sense. Non-Verbal Reasoning: Patterns, sequences, and shape recognition. 5. General Awareness: Legal and Defense Awareness: Basic knowledge of legal terms, defense mechanisms, and military operations. Indian Armed Forces: Structure and function of the Indian Airforce and other defense services. 6. Physical Fitness and Medical Standards: Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Includes physical tasks such as running, push-ups, and sit-ups. Details will be specified in the official notification. Medical Examination: Adherence to medical standards as per Indian Airforce norms.
