1. English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension): This section evaluates candidates' understanding and command over English grammar rules, vocabulary usage, and comprehension skills. Candidates may be examined on their knowledge of fundamental computer operations, MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet usage, and email etiquette. Typing speed and accuracy may also be assessed. 5. Stenography Skills: Aspiring stenographers need proficiency in shorthand techniques, transcription, and typing. The syllabus may include dictation practice, shorthand symbols, transcription exercises, and typing speed tests. Accuracy, speed, and efficiency in stenography are crucial for this role. 6.Numerical Ability: Basic arithmetic skills are tested in this section. Topics may include fundamental mathematical operations, percentages, ratios, averages, profit and loss, simple and compound interest, time and work, time and distance, etc. Numerical reasoning questions may also be included to assess logical thinking. 7.Reasoning Ability: This section evaluates candidates' logical and analytical reasoning skills. Topics may include verbal reasoning (analogies, logical deductions, syllogisms) and non-verbal reasoning (pattern recognition, series completion, visual reasoning). Problem-solving abilities and critical thinking are essential for success in this section.
