General Knowledge Current Affairs: National and International importance including sports, awards, new appointments, etc. Indian History: Ancient, Medieval, and Modern history Indian Geography: Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World Indian Polity and Governance: Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights issues, etc. Economic and Social Development: Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc. Environmental issues concerning India and the World, Biodiversity, Climate Change 2. General English Grammar: Parts of speech, tenses, active and passive voice, direct and indirect speech. Vocabulary: Synonyms, antonyms, one-word substitutions, idioms and phrases. Comprehension: Reading comprehension passages and questions based on them. Writing Ability: Letter writing, essay writing, précis writing, etc. 3. Quantitative Aptitude Number Systems: Rational numbers, decimal and fractions, relationships between numbers. Computation of Whole Numbers: Percentages, ratio and proportion, square roots, averages, interest (simple and compound), profit and loss, discount, partnership business, mixture and alligation, time and distance, time and work. Statistics: Collection and tabulation of statistical data, graphs, charts and diagrams. 4. Logical Reasoning Verbal Reasoning: Coding-Decoding, Analogies, Statement and Assumption, Syllogisms, Statement and Conclusion, Statement and Argument. Non-Verbal Reasoning: Series, Analogies, Classification, Analytical Reasoning. 5. Accounting Basic Accounting Principles: Concepts and conventions. Financial Accounting: Preparation of financial statements (Profit and Loss Account, Balance Sheet), accounting for depreciation, inventory valuation, accounting standards. Cost Accounting: Cost concepts, methods of costing (Job Costing, Process Costing), cost accounting standards. Management Accounting: Budgeting, variance analysis, ratio analysis. 6.
